Cold Weather

Well the winter season is closing in and that means cold temps and rain.  But we are still taking people out kayaking.  This is a great time of year to see birds that have migrated into the area for the winter.  We recommend a half day tour for those coming out the island for a weekend getaway.  Don’t forget that we provide you with excellent gear for the weather so do not worry about the rain.

Here is a list of birds that we have been seeing so far:

Common Loon, Pacific Loon, Western Grebe, Great Blue Heron, American Wigeon, Canvasback, Harlequin Duck, Surf Scoter, Bufflehead, Common Merganser, Hooded Merganser and much more!
