Guided Rental Multi-Day Tours

To book a Guided Rental Tour, consult your calendar for dates that will work best for you and contact us to confirm date availability. You can call and consult us on other Guided Rental Tours that are already booked. We require a minimum of 4 people to run the Tour.

What is a Guided Rental Multi-Day Kayak Tour

Guided Rental Tours are set up to be a budget friendly kayak tour for those who have the ability to bring thier own camping equipment, foods and do thier own cooking. People with camping skills may choose this option to feel more independent, to add to their kayak adventure. Going along with you is one of our experienced multi-day kayak guides. Guides will plan routes according to the currents and weather forcast. Guides bring with them a wealth of knowledge such as, places to beach for lunch, camping areas, hikes you can take, wildlife you may encounter and rescues skills that are needed to keep everyone safe.

The Guided Rental Kayak Tours are offered at 2 days through 5 days. The routes we travel are no different than those we use for the All-Inclusive Island Explorer Tour. For information on islands that you may encounter on your route, see Islands We Visit page. The itinerary we follow is very similar to that of the Island Explorer Tour. Please visit 3 Day Itinerary for the Island Explorer Tour to get an idea of the day to day flow of your tour. Keep in mind that your guide will not be doing the cooking for you.

Discovery Sea Kayaks provides:

• Boreal Design Esperanto Kayaks, Werner Paddles, Kayak touring designed PFD's (life jackets) , cook stove and fuel.
• Experienced sea kayak guide to provide paddling expertise and intimate knowledge of the area and potential dangers and delights of the San Juan Islands. Plus provide information on Orca Whales and other wildlife.

Clients are responsible for:

• Food
• Camping Equipment, Cooking and Dinnerware.
• Rain gear and other camp comforts.
• Sharing camp chores

Discovery Sea Kayaks does have camping equipment for rent. Please check for availability, as equipment may be in use on other tours.

Prices below do not include use of a water taxi which is an option on some trips.
