Cancellation and Refunds

IF ANY RESERVATION HOLDER DOES NOT CONTACT US OR DOES NOT SHOW FOR RESERVED TOUR DATE. RESERVATION HOLDER WILL BE CHARGED THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE NUMBER OF SPOTS RESERVED FOR THEIR TOUR.

Day, Sunset Tours and Kayak Rentals

Payment is due in full on arrival for your Day or Sunset Tour, or Kayak Rental.

You have 14 days prior to the day of your Day or Sunset Tour, or Kayak Rental to cancel your reservation for a full refund.

If you cancel within 13 days or less, a 25% administration fee will be applied to your Credit Card.

If we cancel a Day or Sunset Tour or Kayak Rental, a full refund is given.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any Day or Sunset Tours or Kayak Rentals.

Reasons for cancellation or postponement are varied, but weather/wind is the number one reason for cancellation. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATIONS ARE VERY RARE!

Multiday Explorer and Guided Rental Tours

A Non Refundable 10% will be charged to your credit card at time of reservation.

Payment is due in full on arrival for your Explorer or Guided Rental Tour.

You have 30 days prior to the day of Explorer or Guided Rental Tour, to cancel your reservation for a full refund, minus the Non Refundable 10% charge.

If you cancel within 29 days or less, a 40% administration fee will be applied to your Credit Card in addition to the 10% charge.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any Explorer or Guided Rental Tour.

Reasons for cancellation or postponement are varied, but weather/wind is the number one reason for cancellation. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATIONS ARE VERY RARE!

Medical Forms and Liability Release

Each participant is required to fully fill out a liability release form and medical form. Forms must be received by Discovery Sea Kayaks prior to tour departure. These forms will be sent out once we receive your deposit.

Canceled Trips

Discovery Sea Kayaks reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever. In such a case, a full refund of the cost of the trip is given and we will find you another outfitter offering a similar trip and date. Discovery Sea Kayaks is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparation for the trip including non-refundable airline tickets, medical expenses, equipment etc.
